The name Ikkousha means one(一) happy(幸) place(舎). This was the idea of Ikkousha's founder, Kousuke Yoshimura, who dreamed of creating a place that would delight its customers with its delicious and comforting bowls of ramen.
Ikkousha is and always will be about authentic Hakata ramen. Tonkotsu broth -- made from meticulously prepared pork bones and cartilage, simmered over a long period -- is what gives Hakata ramen its identifiable flavor and rich, creamy consistency. We pair this with noodles made in our own factory: thin, yet filling noodles that bring in the flavor of the broth with every bite. To top it off are delicate yet satisfying slices of chashu (braised pork).
In bringing Ikkousha to Metro Manila, we guarantee the HAKATA GLOBAL STANDARD every time you visit our store. We work hand-in-hand with Hakata Ikkousha to ensure that the quality in Ikkousha Manila, in everything from ingredients to employee training, adheres to its high standards.
